This seminar was created when several things became apparent to me. In my post-coaching life, I have more clearly and objectively been able to view the game of basketball and it’s direction.

In mentoring coaches at all levels I have found a lack of thirst for the game especially with younger coaches. A sense of entitlement has set in and keeps coaches from admitting they don’t actually know much about basketball or the art of coaching and teaching.

There is a huge difference between “knowing basketball” and being a teacher of the game and coaching young people through excellence, preparation and passion.
